We’ve always been intrigued by this industry. It’s furniture staging of homes for sale.

(True story: one time Michael liked the staging of a home so much he tried to buy the furniture with the house, too. The seller told him heck no.)

Not a shabby net margin at all with a SDE (seller’s discretionary earnings) in the $220k range on about $440k in sales.

They also seemingly did well during the pandemic, which is somewhat surprising.

For the right buyer who likes logistics, design, likely already lives in the Bay Area, and wants to schmooze with real estate agents, this is a fun little business.

Given the brokers are highly motivated to get good staging in place to impress their clients, you’d also should have some pricing power.
